The stars are not visible because of the sun's light

If you knew anything about how cameras work, you'd know that when shooting footage in bright sunlight, the camera's exposure controls will be dimming down the brilliance of the brightly lit objects in view so they don't appear too bright, but at the same time, the faint images of stars can't also be captured in the footage and are effectively being filtered out.

​@sailorman8668 Sound requires molecules and atoms which is not found in space. People have claimed that the station itself can act as a solid and transmit sound but the outside environment of the station lacks atoms and molecules so I'm still not sure how that is possible. We definitely hear something but im not a professional by any means just a seeker of truth. Let me know if you find anything out 😊cheerls

Felix baumgartner didnt jump from space he only jumped from 38,709 meters while the agreed upon line where space starts is at 100,000 meters. Only about 1/3 of the way to space also the ISS shown in the video orbits the earth at 370km to 400km over 10 times higher. In the video they look way higher then felix did so where did you get that it looked further away. Also you can prove the ISS is real by getting a cheap telescope and point it at the moon then go to the ISS tracker site to see the time it will pass over the moon and you will see it.

Well instead of making it a quiz like Sailorman, here some numbers: - Imagine earth has a diameter of 127 cm - in that scale the ISS (so the astronauts in this video) are only 4 cm away from the surface - the moon is 38 m away (!) - the sun is 15 km (!!!!) away So they are in no way "closer to the sun". BTW, even if you would not know the numbers: Earth is a rotating sphere, and the ISS flies around it. So Imagine the sun is exactly in zenith, exactly above you, and the ISS is exactly above you. Then it is 400 km closer to the sun. But when the ISS 1000 km east or thousands 1000 km west of you (actually these numbers are made up, so you have to calculate it, but just to get the idea), then you are closer to the sun than the ISS.

Thanks so much for posting your comment Keith, which has only helped to illustrate your woeful ignorance on the subject of the earth and the movement of objects that orbit it. Firstly, ALL of the earth rotates in a counter-clockwise direction, from west to east. The earth doesn't split in half at the equator, with one half rotating one way and the other half rotating in the opposite direction. To say that the 'earth rotates clockwise on the northern hemisphere and counter clockwise in the southern hemisphere', is just ridiculous. Secondly, the 'movement' observed in the footage, is NOT the earth's movement (rotation), but the movement of the ISS itself, as it orbits the earth, once every 90 minutes.

The earth actually doesn't rotate at all, we are a fixed plane stuck on a rock in the warp of space the sun navigates around this rock and the rock stays still and admires it travel round and round and round.
